INSTRUCTIONS:
The ScreenCraft PotLuck Channel is
reached with the PaperQuote
software. It delivers to your desktop two items:
first, a text quote
will appear in the software itself as you download, and second, the
wallpaper on your desktop will automatically be changed to that
days' issue.
Download the software HERE, or from our site here.
The PotLuck channel is
already installed in this version
of PaperQuote, but in case you need to add it manually-:
When the software has been
installed you'll see a small green icon
in your taskbar beside your clock. Right-click and choose "Tools",
then choose "Add Channel". Fill in the boxes as follows:
CHANNEL CODE = Potluck
PASSWORD = None
SERVER ADDRESS = http://www.screencraftsavers.com/~dailies
Please type the Server Address
exactly as you see it above.
Click the "OK" button, and the channel is installed. To receive
the channel, right-click again on the green PQ icon in the taskbar.
Choose "Get Wallpaper and Quote" to open the main window.
At top left of the window is a button, with a tooltop that says
"Change Channel" and choose "CardCraft Postcard" from the
menu.
The software will go and fetch the wallpaper and quote for you
(NB YOU MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET FOR THIS!)
